Project or Senior Engineer – Water and Wastewater
Location: Western United States
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project or Senior Engineer specializing in Water and Wastewater. This role is ideal for a professional with a proven track record of successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engineering: Apply your expertise in water and wastewater utility engineering to solve client problems and enhance their operations. Experience in water and wastewater pump station design is required, while treatment design experience is desirable.
- Project Management: Work collaboratively in a team environment, taking direction from a Project Manager and guiding Staff Engineers and CAD Designers. Ensure project scope, schedules, and budgets are met.
- Marketing: Develop and maintain client relationships, contribute to winning new projects, and actively network to lay the groundwork for future professional practice.
- Mentoring: Train and mentor younger engineers, CAD Designers, and Project Assistants. Demonstrated success in recruiting and developing talent is highly valued.
Qualifications:
- Education: B.S. in Civil Engineering, Water Resources, or a related field.
- Certification: California PE Certification or the ability to attain a California Professional Engineering License within 1 year.
- Experience: 6+ years in professional engineering, with a focus on water and wastewater systems.
- Preferred: Knowledge of California regulations and existing local relationships.
