Document Control

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to join our team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, accessibility, and compliance of Mechanical Integrity documentation within our chemical manufacturing facility. Your work will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of our processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive document control system for Mechanical Integrity documentation, including procedures, reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ensure all documents are properly categorized, indexed, and archived for easy retrieval.
  • Monitor document changes and revisions, ensuring that the most up-to-date versions are available to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technical experts to update documents as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and standards related to Mechanical Integrity documentation and ensure compliance.
  • Conduct periodic audits to verify document accuracy and adherence to compliance requirements.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of data within documents, reports, and technical records.
  • Identify and rectify discrepancies or inconsistencies promptly.
  • Manage access permissions to sensitive Mechanical Integrity documents to maintain confidentiality and security.
  • Provide training to employees on document access protocols.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on document control activities for management review.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for internal and external audits.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • MUST have expertise in Meridian, bluebeam, and/or sharepoint
  • Proven experience in document control, preferably in a chemical manufacturing or similar industry.
  • Familiarity with Mechanical Integrity documentation, standards, and regulations is a plus.
  • Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
