Nested Contract - at least 1-2 years
Savannah, GA - Onsite
Estimated Start Date: Early 2025 (January- February)
Pay Rate: 75-80 - Absolute max $87/hr
Bill Rate: $110-$130
Monthly Stipend between $2000-$3000
Flexible to a 4-10 or 5-8 schedule. Planned 40 hour/week with the potential for additional hours based on business needs and project schedules.
Standard time only -no over time rate
Preference for candidates with experience in Oil and Gas and/or Chemical manufacturing sites.
PROJECT MANAGER
The Project Manager is an integral part of managing and leading capital projects with direct involvement and daily coordination to ensure the safe and successful execution and completion of assigned projects by using demonstrated project management skillsets combined with site chemical process and layout knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
· Manages and leads capital projects for the plant.
· Provides role model leadership for safety culture and behavior on capital projects.
· Works with the plant team to utilize the project execution work process consistently.
· Works with the corporate procurement group to get best price, quality, & timing on capital purchases and contract services. This includes writing complete scopes of work and other contract documents.
· Leads and facilitates all phases of the capital process.
· Develops monthly forecasting techniques to consistently spend capital based on execution plans.
· Works with project teams to develop good cost estimates for capital projects.
· Develops project schedules and manages/adjusts them to meet established timelines.
Required Skills
· Effective Communications Skills (verbally, written, presentation).
· Collaborates effectively with plant engineering, maintenance, and leadership.
· Ability and initiative to rapidly acquire knowledge of the site including chemical processes and physical layout.
· Must have 5+ years of project management experience.
· Must have 5+ years of experience in safely executing fieldwork.
· PMP certification preferred.
· While using normal hearing and visual acuity have the ability to:
· Lift up to 20 pounds
· Frequently use fine motor skills for keyboarding, writing and other similar activities
· Work from heights and do daily climbing of stairs and ladders
· Walk up to two (2) miles between plant work areas
· Work in inclement outdoor weather conditions, including hot, cold, etc.
Education, Certifications & Licenses
Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering OR Bachelor’s degree in other related field of study, such as Construction Management AND 5+ years with a proven record of accomplishment of successfully leading capital projects.
