Civil Engineer
Location: San Luis Obispo, California
Position Overview: We are seeking a Civil Engineer responsible for developing project design concepts, plans, reports, and specifications for various civil engineering projects, including commercial, industrial, and residential development, as well as public works facility improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project design concepts, plans, reports, and specifications for grading, roadway geometric layout, underground utility design, erosion and sediment control, stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP), low impact design, post-construction stormwater requirements, drainage system design, hydrology and hydraulics design, cost estimating, and preparation of project reports.
- Provide coordination and communication with clients and agency staff.
- Manage project scope and budgets.
- Train design and production staff.
Specific Experience:
- General Civil Engineering, including preparation of reports, improvement plans, quantities, and bonding estimates for land development projects.
- Grading and drainage design, stormwater requirements and regulations, low impact development requirements, and the entitlement process.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- California professional registration.
- Minimum of five years of qualifying experience.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D 2024.
Compensation:
- $85,000 - $115,000 depending on experience.
