Location: Southern Illinois (St. Louis area preferred - will be traveling)

Hourly Rate: $50/hr (maximum) - stay between $40-$45/HR
Per Diem: Not provided
Meals & Mileage: Covered for overnight stays (candidates must cover meals if returning home the same day)
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced APM to join our team on a variety of upcoming solar construction projects in Southern Illinois. The role will involve on-site oversight during surveying, civil work, and other construction stages, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, particularly in solar projects, and be comfortable working independently and with technology to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide on-the-ground oversight during surveying, civil work, and other construction activities, such as tree cleaning.
Perform quality control inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
Review and interpret civil construction drawings, including survey files and reference points.
Utilize technology (smartphone, Office 365 suite, SharePoint) to upload photos, create construction reports, and track progress.
Identify and report any workmanship issues during construction.
Collaborate with project managers and other team members to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Experience: 3-5 years of relevant construction experience (solar preferred, but not required). Electrical experience is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Comfortable using smartphones for reporting and uploading photos in batches.
Familiar with SharePoint and construction reporting software.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of civil construction designs and solar construction (no rooftop experience required).
Ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings and survey files.
Work Requirements:
Must be willing to work 40 hours a week with flexibility for weekend work (Saturday and Sunday) when needed.
Must be able to travel within the region as required for the projects.
Must have a smartphone capable of uploading reports and photos.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, with potential weekend work depending on project needs.
Maximum of 40 hours per week, overtime must be approved.
