Project Engineer

Spencer Ogden are currently seeking a Project Engineer with electrical background to support one of our global OEM clients in Singapore on a large scale project.

As a Project Engineer, you will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities play a key role in overseeing the successful execution of the project. This includes ensuring the smooth installation and integration of systems, managing and collborating with cross-functional teams, as well as ensuring site works are completed to a high level and in line with the relevant quality and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and advise on the installation of control systems, cable laying, and other M&E works.
• Coordinate with multiple teams and stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Actively participate in weekly meetings to provide updates, discuss progress, and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, safety standards, and quality control measures.

Desired Characteristics:

• Electrical & Control or Automation background
• Prior experience in site management, documentation, and project coordination is preferred.
• Communication skills in Mandarin is required (client and meetings are mostly Mandarin-speaking).
• Ability to manage and guide teams effectively while maintaining high standards of work quality.

Work Location: 50% site-based, 50% office-based.

Contract Type: 1-year renewable contract.

Start Date: Immediate availability preferred.

Working hours: 5 days a week
