JOB DESCRIPTION – Project Delivery Manager

Job Title: Project Manager  
Reporting To: Head of Project Delivery  
Salary: Competitive + up to 20% Performance-related Bonus  
Travel: Domestic travel within the UK required  

We are renewable energy developers dedicated to increasing the amount of clean energy generated in the UK by working closely with landowners and local communities. With a robust pipeline of projects supporting 11GW of connection and continuous growth, we are seeking a Project Manager to join our Project Management Team. This role involves supporting the development and construction of renewable energy projects, including ground-mounted Solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Wind Energy.

We are looking for a self-motivated and proactive Project Manager who can communicate effectively and build trusted relationships at all levels. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest and understanding of renewables, with enthusiasm and passion for working as part of a team to lead and deliver projects with Land Managers.

Purpose Of Job

The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in the delivery of a complex, exciting, and varied portfolio. Working closely with Land Managers, Grid Connection Managers, and the Planning Manager, you will track, update, and coordinate all functions of the business to ensure projects are delivered according to the project programme.

Main Tasks of the Job

- Project Manage a portfolio of projects alongside other business functions to deliver projects according to Programme Milestones.
- Control the Risk Register, document actions, and track mitigation.
- Manage Project Budget, controlling spend versus approved budgets.
- Present project overviews to key stakeholders at a senior level.
- Oversee Due Diligence and collaborate with the project team to mitigate risks in line with the programme and budget.
- Update and track the project action log.
- Coordinate all aspects of design development.
- Collaborate and communicate with the Construction team.
- Oversee and update modelling inputs throughout the project life cycle.
- Lead Project meetings and reviews with the project team.
- Prepare Gate Papers by pulling together information from the Project team to influence stakeholders and support investment decisions.
- Manage the HSE file to capture actions and decisions in line with CDM best practices.
- Build relationships across all areas of the business, working towards a common goal.
