Accelerate Action: Women Leading Energy

As we celebrate International Women’s Day, Spencer Ogden is proud to launch an inspiring campaign that highlights the achievements of women who are making a significant impact in the energy sector.

We will be holding career conversations with trailblazing women in the industry, some of which were featured in our prestigious "100 Brilliant Women in Renewable Energy" list. Through sharing their stories we aim to inspire the next generation of leaders and celebrate their contributions to this dynamic and transformative industry.

We are excited to share; what inspired them to pursue a career in energy, their achievements, the challenges faced, advice and thoughts on accelerating action in the industry.

Why it’s important to #AccelerateAction:

Across the globe as we progress towards the energy transition and powering a sustainable future, those working in the sector stand at the forefront of development and change, offering innovative solutions for a sustainable future. Women are driving progress in this field, shaping policy, pioneering technology, and leading companies. However, the path to gender equity in the energy sector remains challenging, with women often underrepresented in leadership roles.

By sharing the stories of these exceptional women, Spencer Ogden seeks to:

  • Inspire and empower: Provide role models for aspiring professionals, showcasing how these women have overcome barriers to excel in their careers.

  • Raise awareness: Highlight the importance of gender diversity and inclusion in the energy industry.

  • Celebrate achievements: Shine a light on the groundbreaking work being done by women in the sector and their impact on a global scale.
